Keep Art Alive!!!

“No way will we sit back and watch the future generation grow separated from the fundamental elements of art. We just won’t do it!”, says our CEO.

For years we have been stripped away from art programs as a result of budget cuts to educational funding.

The U.S. Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics, provided data about arts education from the 1999-2000 school year to the 2009-2010 school year which indicated the following:

•6% of public schools offer no music education

•17% of public schools offer no visual arts education

•3% of elementary schools offer dance education

•4% of elementary schools offer theater classes

Despite the statistics, we believe that we have a means of fighting back against the war against art. With our Keep Art Alive Initiative, participants are able to start taking control of their creative freedom as well as embarking on the road to becoming entrepreneurs.

The Keep Art Alive Initiative is sponsored by the Peace & Elevation Apparel LLC with a dedication to inspiring the creative minds and inner artist in others.

The reason:

• We launched this initiative to fight back against the systems that have slowly but surely decreased the amount of time students engage in arts and craft activities during their years of early development.

• We also launched this initiative to create an opportunity for our business to connect with our customers, our supporters and communities, just like yours, in a way like never before.

Peace & Elevation Apparel LLC is currently presenting schools and independent artists an opportunity to take original artwork and share it for others to shop for or to have it produced for your own personal collection.

We're looking to inspire the most experienced artists as well as those that haven't doodled since the third grade. So yes, mom, dad, teachers and staff this is for you too.

Fun Fact: Studies have shown that drawing increases one's memory

Do you remember the drawings from your childhood days? Were they of dinosaurs? Favorite cartoon characters? Big squiggly lines? Either way, whether it was cars, dinosaurs or cartoons, your art matters. Even those squiggly lines contribute to a bigger picture; that art is life and that we all must do our part to Keep Art Alive!

Approved Art

Artwork must be approved and can be sent to getfresh@peaceandelevationapparel to initiate the approval process. Please send all emails for approval with the subject line "My Art Alive". If your submission meets the criteria, we will begin establishing a production plan and will prepare to generate merchandise for your personal collection or to be sold online.

Submissions that do not meet the criteria will be rejected. If you receive an email that your submissions have been rejected do not worry. An approval suggestion will be provided to you, considering the original artist decides to move forward with having artwprk processed for merchandise.

*Submissions do not require a fee

If submissions are approved a production plan will be generated at no cost to the school or artist. The artist or school will only be responsible for purchasing the garments of choice. The artist or school will decide how they'd like to distribute their artwork either by direct to artist (hand to hand sales) or artist to consumer via online platforms. A payment for merchandise must be received prior to shipment.

Sale made by Schools

All approved submissions that are sold online will be sold for a standard price agreed upon by both P&E and assigned school.

Sales made by Independent Artists

All approved submissions that are sold online will be sold for a price set by original artist. P&E will honor the artist's vision and will promote sales at the tier desired by creator.

* Payments to schools and Independent Artists for funds generated from online sales will be issued once a month for sales from the previous month.

Our Copyright Clause

We promise to never sale the artwork presented by Independent Artists and schools. All artwork submitted will be protected by our copyright clause which reserves the right of artwork being manipulated or manufactured without the permission of the original artist(s).
